Why I support and help FSBO’s, as a Realtor

Sooo here we go folks. I was a homeowner before I was an agent. I thought about selling my own property FSBO and ended up going with a great friend that did a great job. He and his wife are the reason I am in real estate here in Colorado Springs, CO. However, I have also had friends and family that have done FSBO successfully and were able to put more money down on their next home. My #1 goal is to help people. To put people first.

Whether that is giving people ideas on how to sell their home FSBO, discounting my commission to help them get out of their home or into a home that better fits their family. I just want to help and make some money to pay the bills along the way.

All that being said, if you are going to sell FSBO, hit me up! I will give you a free CMA, so you know what price to list your house at. I will put you on a tickler in the MLS that will tell you what is for sale in your neighborhood, when it went under contract and what it sold for. Let me know if you need help with: marketing ideas, where to advertise or how to run a successful open house. What helps your house be set apart than the other homes in the neighborhood? I will come over and help out.

Some agents question me on discounting my commission. It’s simple: I trust people to be honest. I have fees and bills to pay just like other agents, but if a client is struggling to sell a home because of commissions I will do all I can to assist because at the end of the day… I choose to trust people.
